Company Benefits

Based on the idea that "challenge and peace of mind are a set," we have introduced personnel systems and benefits that allow employees to continue working for a long time with a sense of security in their careers and working environment.
  • Support System for Women macalon

    Support System for Women "macalon"

    A support system comprises eight packages to improve the workplace environment where employees can continue working. (The name is a combination of “mama” (ma), CyberAgent (ca), and “long” (lon), as in “work for a long time.”)

    F leave

    The special day off that can be obtained once a month in case of physical condition peculiar to women. By unifying the way of calling for leave acquired by female employees, including regular paid holidays, we eliminate the unconfortable feeling of speaking the reason for acquisition and difficulty in obtaining.

    Pre-pregnancy Leave

    Pre-pregnancy leave is a special leave that female employees undergoing fertility treatment can take up to once a month to go to the hospital for treatment, including egg freezing. Same-day application is accepted considering sudden hospital visits and physical condition. When acquiring this leave, the employee can take it without being known to the surroundings by using the word "F leave."

    Pre-pregnancy Concierge

    An employee who is interested in fertility treatment or an employee who is concerned about future pregnancy can consult experts with individual counseling once a month for 30 minutes. Besides this, we hold in-house seminars by specialist and introduce clinics to employees.

    Support for Egg Freezing

    The program subsidizes up to 400,000 yen per female employee for expenses related to egg freezing, including various checkups, ovarian stimulation, egg retrieval, and cryopreservation.

    Working at Home with Kids

    To allow employees to work from home when caring for children, such as a sudden illness or when children are unable to attend nursery school. It is possible to use up to the contracted working hours as the upper limit.

    Kids Day Leave

    To allow employees time off for school events, such as entrance/graduation ceremonies or parent participation days, or other anniversaries.

    Subsidizing Part of the Non-Approved Nursery School Fees

    CyberAgent bears part of expensive non-approved nursing fees to promote the return of female employees who can not return to work because their kids can not enter certified nursery school. Since most of our offices locates at Shibuya, Tokyo, mom employees expressed reluctance to bring their kids to in-house nursery at the time of commuting rush. We promote the return of work of mom employees by subsidizing part of the non-approved nursery school fees.

    Lunch with Your Local

    It provides a place and opportunity for local, useful information exchange among mom (and pre-mom) employees living in the same city/town/village.
    If 4 or more moms living in the same municipality are gathered, it can be implemented, and the company will bear the lunch fee of 3,000 yen per person once every 4 months.

    Mama Magazine

    A public information magazine for mom employees. Posting articles such as experiences of mom employees who are balancing childcare and work and the latest information on the company. We aim to connect mom employees and employees with maternity or childcare leave to the company by mailing them to their home.

    Rent Subsidy Program - Live within Two Station Rule / Live Anywhere Rule

    CyberAgent provides a rent subsidy of ¥30,000 a month to regular employees living within two stops of the nearest station to the office along any line, and ¥50,000 a month to all regular employees who have been with the company for five years, no matter where they live.

    Refreshment Leave - Five Rest Days

    Regular employees who have been with the company for three years are granted a five-day “special leave” each year to refresh their minds and bodies, and take on new challenges.

    Retirement Plan (Long-service incentive)

    Employees who retire and fulfill certain conditions are entitled to a long-service incentive. CyberAgent offers a performance-based retirement plan that employees begin contributing to at age 30. Employees who leave after ten or more years of service and older than age 40 are eligible for the program. Allowances are linked to the company’s performance, paid at a fixed rate of operating income.

    Consultation with Industrial Doctor

    A consultation with a company industrial doctor is provided for employees to ensure their health and comfortable workplace to exercise their full abilities.

    Communication Counseling

    For those interested, we also provide opportunities to consult once a month with a counselor who possesses clinical psychologist qualifications. Whether in employees' public or private life, counseling provides a jumping-off point for solving various communication issues. To protect the person's privacy, the company receives no feedback on the content of the consultation.
    All new employees receive counseling from a counselor twice during their first year in the company. Specialists also conduct interviews on work, physical, and mental conditions, thereby providing opportunities to ensure that the right people are assigned to the right positions and that they are able to pursue more meaningful challenges.

  • Annual Medical Checkups

    Annual Medical Checkups

    All Group employees undergo a medical checkup once a year to detect illness early and assess their overall health condition. Depending on the results, an Occupational Health Physician follows up to provide the necessary employee health care.

  • Vaccinations

    Vaccinations

    Free vaccinations are administered in-house every year to prevent seasonal flu. In 2018, when there were signs of a rubella outbreak, the company covered the cost of rubella vaccinations for those wishing to be vaccinated. In 2013, the company also carried out a mass vaccination for the MR (measles and rubella mixed) vaccine.

    To maintain good health among employees working from the office, alcohol disinfectant spray and general medicine are available at each floor/office, and restrooms have also been stocked with mouthwash.

  • Establishment of a Remote Work Environment

    Establishment of a Remote Work Environment

    We have established an environment where employees can continue to work from anywhere without stress and without compromising performance through several measures. These include managing security based on staff ID; providing a VPN connection that uses security-managed safe routing; implementing measures to prevent delay on the VPN connection when several people are connected at the same time; introducing a video conferencing system; and moving business folders to the cloud.

    All offices are equipped with a massage room where employees can receive treatment by a dedicated masseur up to four times a month (once per week x 4).

    First Aid Rooms are set up in each office to provide a temporary rest area in the event of a sudden physical health issue during work hours.
