A Muscular Organization for a Growing and Diversifying Business Portfolio
CyberAgent marked its 20th anniversary in 2018, thanks to the support of stakeholders.
Currently, the Internet Advertisement Business continues to grow at a rate that exceeds the industry average, while the Game Business is generating a series of hit titles, and is expanding its market share. AbemaTV, which is still in the up-front investment stage, is steadily increasing viewership and revenue, and we maintain our aim of establishing it as a mass media service.
CyberAgent achieved record high sales in FY9/18, and has grown consistently since its founding. The organizational structure has also expanded rapidly, and now comprises around 5,000 employees.
Under such circumstances, to establish a structure in keeping with our business expansion, in 2018 we abolished CyberAgent’s unique CA8 system of rotating directors that we had utilized for the last 10 years. Going forward, to further strengthen and enhance the management structure, we will increase the number of directors for a fixed period, further develop management personnel, and establish a muscular management structure.
By creating the optimal structure for a diversifying business portfolio, and through continual change and growth, we are aiming for further successes over the next 10 years and beyond.
