Our commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Contribute to the Advancement of Japanese Society by Creating Value through Our Businesses
Since its establishment in 1998, CyberAgent has continued to change with the times, expanding its business from internet advertising to media and game businesses. Based on our conviction that continuing to expand into new markets and create new businesses will lead to the sustainable growth of the company and the vitalization of society, we have consistently taken on new challenges.
We launched the "Ashita Kaigi (Meeting for Tomorrow)" in 2006 as a forum for proposing and discussing new businesses and methods of problem solving. We have established a total of 37 subsidiaries to date, which have contributed to our business growth by generating cumulative sales of roughly 450.7 billion yen* and operating profit of roughly 62.7 billion yen*.
Under our purpose of "To Break through Stagnation with New Power and the Internet," which we defined in 2021, CyberAgent is committed to continuing to contribute to Japan's economic growth by creating value through the know-how and services built up over the years, and striving to realize a vibrant society by creating employment.

Realize an environment that enables employees to maximize their abilities while working with peace of mind
Because CyberAgent believes that maximizing employees' capabilities is a primary driver of business development, we have implemented a variety of measures to create an environment that allows them to work long-term with peace of mind, and a personnel system that draws out their full potential.
We have prioritized hiring since our founding and, as of 2024, employ over 7,850 executives and employees*1. In a stress check we administer to employees, a remarkable 87.6%*2 responded that their work is "meaningful and rewarding."
To enable all highly-capable personnel, regardless of gender, to play an active role in the company, we support a flexible work style that accommodates the changes of various life stages through "macalon," our system for ensuring that women can realize their full potential. Women hold 28.1% of all management positions*1.
CyberAgent will continue to provide an environment in which each and every employee can be confident to take on major challenges with full peace of mind.

An R&D Organization Dedicated to Innovation and Contributing to Social Implementation
In 2016, CyberAgent launched "AI Lab" as an R&D organization tasked with conducting research and development on a broad range of AI technologies related to digital marketing. By establishing facilities suited to research activities and creating opportunities for interaction among engineers, CyberAgent provides an environment where they can focus on developing innovative services. CyberAgent also actively promotes academia-industry collaboration with universities conducting cutting-edge research.
In May 2023 we released our proprietary Japanese LLM*1 "CyberAgentLM" to the public. It is widely used in society including our products. Version 3 which has released in 2024, received the highest rating*2 among Japanese companies in terms of the performance score of major models available in Japanese. By promoting the development and business use of LLM, we contribute to the development of natural language processing technology in Japan. We strive to make innovation through research and development, aiming for business implementation and practical use in society.

Social initiatives in each business
Make ABEMA the television of the future, an easily accessible social infrastructure.
ABEMA not only provides free access to the latest news and information, but we have also added an emergency channel that delivers real-time information for disaster-affected persons 24-hours-a-day in the event of a disaster or other emergency such as an Earthquake Early Warning.
During the Kumamoto earthquake which occurred when the channel first launched in April 2016, it broadcast an earthquake bulletin immediately after the earthquake strike, and continued to deliver the latest earthquake-related information for around 49 and a half hours, including special programs only available on the AbemaNews Channel, which was also used as a means of gathering information in the disaster-affected area. In addition, its full-coverage live broadcasts of press conferences and focus on speed in delivering breaking news have been successful in building up a viewership base that thinks to "Check ABEMA First" whenever something happens. Going forward, ABEMA recognizes the importance of its role in society as a new information infrastructure in the age of the internet, and will continue to fulfill it.
Contribute to the Digital Shift of All Industries
Digitalization has become an urgent issue in many of the industries. CyberAgent is working to promote digital transformation (DX) to solve social issues by leveraging our knowledge and technical capabilities in the digital domain.
In the retail industry, CyberAgent not only provides support for marketing and advertising business realization, but also the media integration of stores using signage and AI cameras. In addition, we have partnered with other major Japanese companies, mainly in the financial, mobility, and telecommunications industries, to create new value in the advertising business. In the medical field, where labor shortages are worsening, we are also promoting DX for drugstores and pharmacies to provide online medical checkups, medication guidance, and remote customer service.
Through these initiatives, CyberAgent contributes to the digital shift in all industries.
Provide Services that are Convenient, Safe, Secure, and Easy for Anyone to Use
We have been conducting extensive awareness-raising activities both internally and externally since around 2016. CyberAgent has hosted accessibility-related conferences, and an external organization, the Web Accessibility Infrastructure Committee, has been engaged with translating and disseminating international guidelines. We also promote the development of products that are convenient for anyone to use, for example, by conducting user tests with users who have visual impairments.

Dating App Strives to Raise the Fertility in Japan by Supporting Dating and Marriage
The declining fertility has become an important issue in Japan in recent years. It is partly due to the trend toward increasing late marriages and unmarried individuals.
Surveys show that the number of people who are not currently in a relationship and do not wish to be in a relationship is increasing every year*1, and the number of unmarried people who think they may get married in the future is decreasing*2. The younger generation, in particular, is being less proactive about marriage or relationships. Tapple is striving to achieve its purpose of "maximizing the total amount of love," which aims to solve the issues of dating and relationships, which is also the first step in combating declining fertility.
Tapple supports dating and marriage involving the national and local governments, thereby contributes to the efforts to fight a declining birth rate in Japan through signing partnership agreements with Saga, Mie and Hokkaido Prefecture, as well as holding study sessions with Diet members and making proposals to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
