CO2 Emissions Overview

Since FY 2020, CyberAgent has been calculating CO2 emissions to understand and reduce emissions generated by our business activities, and has obtained third-party verification since FY 2022.

Due to our business structure centered on the internet, our direct CO2 emissions (Scope 1) are minimal, with the majority consisting of indirect emissions from electricity consumption in our offices and data centers (Scope 2) and from the supply chain (Scope 3).

CO2 Emissions Data

CO2 Emissions Related to Offices and Data Centers

Since FY 2024, in addition to strengthening energy-saving measures for lighting and air conditioning in our major offices, we have seen a gradual decrease in Scope 2 emissions as a result of switching to renewable energy in some of our tenanted buildings.
While we expect an increase in electricity consumption due to office expansions following business growth and the advancing use of generative AI, we monitor CO2 emissions per net sales (emissions intensity) as a key metric, supported by the ongoing progress of building owners in adopting renewable energy.

Our Efforts in Environmental Data Disclosure

Since 2020, CyberAgent has been disclosing information through CDP. Our score for 2025 (climate change) was C.
