CO2 Emissions Overview

Since FY 2020, CyberAgent has been calculating CO2 emissions to understand and reduce emissions generated by our business activities, and has obtained third-party verification since FY 2022.

Due to our business structure centered on the internet, our direct CO2 emissions (Scope 1) are minimal, with the majority consisting of indirect emissions from electricity consumption in our offices and data centers (Scope 2) and from the supply chain (Scope 3).

CO2 Emissions Data

CO2 Emissions Reduction Target

Through energy-saving initiatives and the introduction of renewable electricity plans for our office buildings, total Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions decreased by 8% in FY2025 compared to FY2022, when we began obtaining third-party assurance and set that year as the base year .

Moving forward, we expect further reductions in CO2 emissions compared to FY2022, driven by progress on initiatives at our major offices and data centers, ensuring a continued downward trajectory. We are committed to steadily reducing our CO2 emissions associated with our business activities through concrete actions.
