Press Release

CyberAgent Establishes CyberAgent DX, Inc. to Help Companies Increase Profitability through DX

CyberAgent

CyberAgent, Inc. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Susumu Fujita; TSE: 4751) announced today that it has established CyberAgent DX, Inc.  (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Gaku Miyata) as a planning and development subsidiary to facilitate corporate digital transformation (“DX”) and increase profitability.

In today’s world, administrative procedures are being moved online, consumer behavior is shifting more digital, and remote communication has become widespread due to technology developments and the COVID-19 pandemic. DX is accelerating in a wide range of fields such as medicine, logistics, and retail. In Japan, the DX market is expected to exceed ¥3 trillion* by 2030, up from approximately ¥800 billion in 2019, as more and more companies turn to DX to streamline and automate their operations, go paperless, and innovate customer touchpoints.

In this context, CyberAgent has been providing DX support services for retail, healthcare, and government since 2020. However, many more companies are facing challenges with DX, such as poor integration of increasingly complex membership data and lack of effective communications across the diverse digital touchpoints used by customers.

While most DX support companies offer services to save costs such as improving business efficiency and computerization, CyberAgent DX will specialize in DX promotion that increases corporate profits to all companies that have their customer bases. It will provide integrated services such as starting advertising businesses, establishing data infrastructure, and developing and operating apps. It will also boost the recruitment and training of DX staff, hiring approximately 100 people by 2023 and aiming to reach \10 billion in sales by 2025.

CyberAgent is taking action based on its purpose, “To break through stagnation with new power and the internet,” and will be committed to DX across all industries through CyberAgent DX.

“Contributing to DX in all industries”
That’s exactly what I intend to do with CyberAgent DX. Since joining the company, I have spent the last nine years developing digital marketing strategies for our clients. Most recently, as the head of the Sales Transformation Center, a DX promotion organization for the retail industry, I have been supporting various DX initiatives such as maximizing retail store revenue and creating new buying experiences for customers. With this experience, I am committed to making CyberAgent DX the go-to DX partner for all companies to improve their profitability.
