ABEMA

WinTicket, Inc., a subsidiary of CyberAgent, Inc. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Susumu Fujita; TSE: 4751) and provider of online betting services for government-controlled gambling, has announced a new online betting service for motorcycle racing through WINTICKET which launched on Thursday, May 7, 2020.

Currently, estimated sales of cycle racing ("Keirin") in Japan are around 606.4 billion yen (FY2019) while the same for motorcycle racing is around 73.8 billion yen (FY2019)*, of which online betting has been exhibiting remarkable growth. Continuing from its April 2019 launch of online betting for Keirin last year, WINTICKET, an online betting service for government-controlled gambling, has launched a similar service that allows users to purchase betting tickets for motorcycle racing. In addition, ABEMA will also begin broadcasting motorcycle racing videos on its “Keirin & Motorcycle Racings Channel,” formerly called the “Keirin Channel.”

The Keirin & Motorcycle Racing Channel aims to communicate the excitement of Keirin and motorcycle racing not only to existing fans but also to the younger generation who are generally unfamiliar with them. The channel produces and delivers live broadcasts of Keirin and motorcycle racings as well as Keirin-themed variety shows, while also allowing viewers of delivered content or shows to directly purchase betting tickets for their respective sport.

Through its various services and ABEMA broadcasts, WINTICKET is committed to promoting online betting for government-controlled gambling and expanding into new fan bases.
