CyberAgent plans and produces anime with the aim of expanding its IP business. From creating original anime, to animating comic books, to merchandizing popular IPs, we are expanding the business around the world in every aspect from planning to monetization.

About Animation Division

CyberAgent had launched a dedicated anime channel at the founding of ABEMA. In 2017, we partnered with Cygames to establish the CA-Cygames Animation Fund, a fund specializing in the investment of anime IPs. We stepped into anime business by investing in other companies' core anime productions and securing distribution and game adaptation rights.

In February 2024, the Anime & IP Business Unit was established to further strengthen the structure by consolidating IP development, animation planning and production, ABEMA-related planning and operation, and advertising, publicity, merchandizing and sales functions to develop business for the global market.

Based on the concept of "striving to be the best in entertainment," CygamesPictures, a subsidiary of Cygames, Inc., is engaged in the planning and production of anime without being bound by existing frameworks. CygamesPictures also plans and produces anime for some titles in collaboration with CyberAgent's Anime Business Unit.
