As the wave of digital transformation (DX) sweeps across industries, the field of corporate creative production is undergoing a pivotal moment. In just the last few years, generative AI, video platforms, and personalized content delivery have fundamentally altered how we interact with information. This shift is forcing companies to completely re-evaluate how they communicate with consumers.

In the digital advertising field, especially, the sheer volume and speed of content needed to drive results has accelerated beyond what traditional structures can handle. Rising production costs, overwhelming quality control, and a slow response to change are becoming serious threats to a company's competitive edge. It's clear that redesigning the creative process around AI is no longer optional—it's essential.


Introducing CyberAgent's CPO (Creative Process Outsourcing)

To address this, we launched our AI Creative BPO Division in December 2024. This division is built on our years of AI expertise in our internet advertising business, and on our proprietary "KIWAMI Prediction AI," an AI model trained on a massive dataset of creative assets and performance data to maximize ad effectiveness. Our goal is to provide end-to-end support for a company's creative production process, from strategy to daily operations.

Our mission isn't just to take work off their hands. It’s to actively lead the company's transition to an AI-centric production process, one that will contribute to sustainable growth.

Our approach is designed to cut current production costs by 50%. We do this by supporting all of a company's creative needs—not just ads—with a combination of custom AI development and a dedicated production team for each client.

We start by implementing a customized version of our AI toolset, including "KIWAMI Prediction AI" to improve the accuracy of performance forecasts and automate the generation and optimization of creative assets based on data. At CyberAgent, we’ve used "KIWAMI Prediction AI" to produce 100,000 creative assets in-house in three months and have seen our top creators increase their output by as much as 15x. We bring this expertise to our partners to streamline processes and stabilize quality.

2. Building a Dedicated, AI-Powered Team to Support In-Housing
Alongside AI implementation, building a customized production system is essential for companies to strengthen their creative capabilities over the long term. We leverage our practical expertise from establishing and operating specialized creative subsidiaries to help companies build in-house creative teams that can collaborate effectively with AI. [Case Study] The AI Creative Center with Benesse: Value Creation Through Co-Creation

One of the best examples of our AI Creative BPO division in action is the AI Creative Center, which we established in Okinawa last year in partnership with Benesse Holdings. Benesse works to solve social issues in diverse fields like education and elder care, and they identified accelerating their use of AI and digital tech as critical for future growth. We saw a clear opportunity for our technology and expertise to help, which led to this collaboration.

In the six months, we’ve already begun integrating AI into a wide range of creative assets, including illustrations, flyers, and videos. For example, using AI to generate character and illustration assets for educational materials has resulted in major cost savings compared to traditional model casting and illustrator fees. For another project, creating dozens of illustrations for an English listening test, we used generative AI to generate multiple drafts. This allowed us to align on a direction before final production, drastically cutting down the timeline. This isn't just about replacing assets with AI; it's about transforming the entire creative workflow.
