CyberAgent, Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Susumu Fujita, President; TSE First Section, Code 4751) announces the establishment on October 3, 2016, of five new subsidiaries endorsed during the most recent “Ashita-Kaigi”, a unique in-house forum to propose and decide on new businesses and find solutions to problems.

The “Ashita-Kaigi” is CyberAgent’s original in-house conference where executives and employees propose and decide on new business ideas, solutions to problems, and other management matters. A total of 18 subsidiaries have been created from previous Ashita-Kaigi, generating a cumulative ¥10 billion in earnings, making the forum one of CyberAgent’s most important management sessions. A total of eight new subsidiaries were approved during the 15th “Ashita-Kaigi” held in September this year.

Of the eight subsidiaries ratified at the “Ashita-Kaigi”, the five being established at this time are ASTROBOX, Inc., QualiArts, Inc., CyCAST, Inc., CA Young Lab, Inc., and MOZZ TOKYO, Inc. At the same time, CyberAgent is also launching “Startup JJJ” a new system aimed at furthering growth and human asset development for newly created in-house startup businesses. CyberAgent already has the “CAJJ” system as a framework for business and personnel development, but with the increase in in-house startup businesses, a system tailored specifically for small-scale businesses will provide for early profitability and business expansion.
