NieR Re[in]carnation, the Latest Installment in the NieR Series, Officially Launches for Mobile Devices in Japan!

Applibot, Inc. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Koki Ukita, Applibot), a subsidiary of CyberAgent, Inc. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Susumu Fujita; TSE: 4751) announced the official Japanese launch of NieR Re[in]carnation, a new game for mobile devices in the NieR series, on February 18, 2021. NieR Re[in]carnation has been developed by Applibot and produced by Square Enix Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President and Representative Director: Yosuke Matsuda).
NieR Re[in]carnation is the first title in the NieR series made for mobile devices. The story begins when a girl wakes up in a vast, mysterious structure of unknown creation known as The Cage. The girl, who has lost both her voice and memories, is guided through The Cage by a ghost-like character called Mama. Together they restore weapon memories—the endings of which have been distorted—so that they might recover what has been lost. When restoring weapon memories, the player will engage in command-based battles that play out in full 3D. Players can assemble a party of up to three characters to combat waves of enemies, adjusting equipment and activating skills as needed for the battle at hand.
The number of preregistered users has already exceeded one million.
