“Supporting Function” Added to “AbemaTV”

 “AbemaTV,” a free-to-view Internet TV station operated by AbemaTV, Inc. today released the “supporting function” for iOS and Android apps. This enables viewers to become supporters for a program and cast in “AbemaTV.”*1  

By sending a stamp*2, which can be purchased with the “Supporting Function,” during a program, viewers can become supporters of the program. The nickname and icon of each supporter will be displayed in the comment section. We will hold various events, including the introduction of the nicknames on a special page. Viewers will be able to enjoy the response from other viewers while watching “AbemaTV,” which is expected to increase the ways of enjoying the programs of “AbemaTV.” This function will be installed first in sports relay and variety shows, and then in more programs.
