CyberAgent Launches “WinTicket,” an Online Betting Service for Keirin (Cycle Race)
“AbemaTV” opens “Keirin Channel”
CyberAgent, Inc. (HQ: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Susumu Fujita; TSE: 4751) announces that WinTicket, inc., which is a consolidated subsidiary that offers online betting services for public races, including Keirin (cycle races) and Auto Race (Japanese motorcycle speedway), will start offering an online betting service for Keirin races on Tuesday, April 2, 2019.
As the ratio of sales from online betting is growing remarkably while the sales of Keirin races and Auto Race were around 640 billion yen and 66 billion yen, respectively, in 2017*1, the company will release “WinTicket,” an online betting service for Keirin races. In parallel with the launch of this service, CyberAgent will open “Keirin Channel” in “AbemaTV,” an Internet TV station. “Keirin Channel” is aimed at conveying how enjoyable cycle races are to young generations who have been unfamiliar with them as well as existing fans, and special programs for broadcasting Keirin races live and those focused on midnight Keirin races will be produced and aired. It is possible to buy betting tickets while watching programs.
“WinTicket” will start with Keirin races, and expand online betting services for other public races, including Auto Race.
