“AbemaTV” Partners with “DAZN” to Promote the Sports Industry

“AbemaTV,” a free-to-view Internet Television service operated by AbemaTV Inc., is pleased to announce that it has signed a partnership agreement on February 10, 2019, with sports channel “DAZN.” The partnership, which is designed to go beyond video streaming, will aim to promote the sports industry by providing more viewers with the opportunity to watch and experience the excitement of sports games. Initially, “AbemaTV” will offer all home games of FC Machida ZELVIA as well as some J. League-related programs.

Susumu Fujita, President of CyberAgent, said, “AbemaTV has offered a variety of sports content since its launch. Through the collaboration with DAZN, we aim to go beyond video streaming and provide viewers of all generations with inspiring sports programs to help vitalize the sports industry.”
