“AbemaTV” to Become Compatible for Toshiba 4K REGZA TVs

AbemaTV, Inc. announced that an “AbemaTV” one-push button that allows you to start the application of Internet TV station “AbemaTV” operated by the company will appear on the remote control for 4K REGZA TVs, which will be released by Toshiba Visual Solutions Corporation in early June 2019.

AbemaTV is expanding device availability to enable “AbemaTV” to be viewed comfortably on TV at home. Viewers will be able to view “AbemaTV” also on Toshiba 4K REGZA TVs, since the newly designed remote control for three 4K REGZA series that will be released in June will be outfitted with buttons that allow you to start six video streaming applications, including “AbemaTV.” When the TV is powered on, pushing one of these buttons will immediately start your favorite application.

To make the “AbemaTV” viewing experience more enjoyable, AbemaTV has improved the functionality by changing the user interface to enhance operability and adding a function to read the comments during viewing on a TV device. The company has also taken steps to expand our viewer base by enabling viewing “AbemaTV” from abroad and adding more channels.
